Since the demand of fire extinguishers has hit the bottom, many domestic manufacturers adopted various measures to deal with the situation. They either cut down prices for the competition or abandoned production and joined importers to import extinguishers (which are produced by cheap labor and made from cheap materials) from China to dump Taiwan. The already few extinguisher manufactures remaining in Taiwan were forced to close down one by one and only Defire King Enterprise and few manufacturers were survived.
